RevitaShape is a skin cream that makes the claim of reducing cellulite in two weeks. However, studies have shown that this claim was false and that results were noticeable well after three weeks.
Manufacturers state that creams with RevitaShape’s ingredients reach fat deposits more quickly when treated topically (as opposed to orally.) Manufacturers also claim this cream boosts metabolism but how that is done is not known. Revitashape’s final claim is that it drains toxins from the area between cells, which improves one’s circulation, which in turn helps the skin’s collagen, and elastin.
What are the magic ingredients in this product?
Glaucine, Caffeine, L-Carnitine, Bladderwrack, Centella Asiatica Extract, and Vitamins A, C and E.
Caffeine is a fat burner and many cellulite creams incorporate this ingredient, touting its wonders. L-Carnitine is an oral weight loss aid and has a successful reputation when taken it its pill form. But there is no evidence it works in a topical form.
Bladderwrack is a kind of sea kelp that flushes one’s cellulite out of the body. This ingredient has been effective in the treatment of other ailments such as high blood pressure, headaches, diarrhea, constipation, colitis, eczema, thinning hair, asthma, and the retention of water. But does Bladderwrack flush out cellulite, too? There is no evidence neither proving nor disputing this claim.
Finally there are slight traces of Retinol in the RevitaShape cellulite cream. Retinol is used as an effective treatment for acne but in doing so, can leave the user with dried and blotchy red skin. Why it is even in RevitaShape remains a mystery because it is not at all known to be a cellulite reducer.
RevitaShape cellulite cream does not come cheap. Its price is rather high in comparison to other cellulite solutions. A single tube is $70. And there are not too many customer testimonials posing a favorable outlook of this product. That does not mean it is ineffective or disappointing for its users, however. It just means that there is a lack of information posted widely on the Internet for anyone considering and comparing the products to other treatments.
So, is it in anyone’s best interest to invest in RevitaShape cellulite cream? For the price tag and its lack of concrete evidence and positive testimonials, one would be hard pressed to support the product. A more favorable outcome for less money might be found with other products out there.
